Preview
Every change is shown as a diff before it happens. Nothing is written to disk until you approve it.
Backup
The original file is saved before it's touched, and can be restored if anything looks wrong.
Only what's announced
No incidental edits. If a tool didn't show it in the preview, it doesn't change it.
